Fr. Al Durrance, Redeeming The Time   Back to Top

Fr. Al, renowned in the ministry of inner healing, particularly the healing of memories, has helped countless people to over come painful memories.  Oftentimes, we may not even consciously remember some of our hurts, but they are recorded deep within and can cause us to behave in a way that is hurtful to us or to others.

You may make an appointment with Fr. Al by calling The Glennon House  or by signing up at the Tuesday evening Healing Service.  If you would like to learn more about this ministry, you may contact The Healing Ministry's Coordinator, Doris Matthews, at (407) 647-8925.  More information about Fr. Al.

Prayer Ministry to Caregivers           Back to Top

Are you in a position of caring for a person with chronic/long term illnesses: Alzheimer’s, ALS, cancer, stroke victims, heart failure, aging parents, severe emotional/physical handicap, depression or anxiety? Each month, on the 2nd Thursday from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., a Caregivers Workshop is held in The Glennon House with Don & Sarah Jaeger and Dr. Barbara Keene, who is specially trained to minister to the needs of caregivers. These workshops are to encourage, comfort, and reenergize caregivers. In addition, Dr. Barbara Keene is available on Thursday afternoons from 1:30 - 4:00 p.m. for individual prayer appointments with caregivers who want to feel at peace and want to be strengthened to persevere.

Barbara has provided extensive ministry to, and workshops for, care givers in her role as a therapist for the past 20 years. Currently she works at the Episcopal Counseling Center, Orlando Office. Her work covers spouses, adult children and family members who deem themselves to be care providers. She also provides individual, couple, and adult family therapy and coaching.

            Grief Ministry                    Back to Top

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through he fire, you will not be burned: the flames will not set you ablaze......Isaiah 43:2 (NIV)

Come to Me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light......Matthew 12:28-30 (NLT)

I find these words of the prophet Isaiah very comforting; yet, when I was in the middle of a life storm they sometimes fell on deaf ears. Sometimes when we are in the middle of coping with a painful loss, we can bounce between knowing the grace of God, wondering where He is, or even wondering if He is real at all. Yet in spite of the pain, confusion, and doubt, we can do more than just survive. With the help, guidance, wisdom, and love of the Lord Jesus we can journey through the valley of the shadow of grief and become new creations (2 Corinthians 5:17). Beloved I pray that God will renew you and give you rest. I know that He can do much more than help you survive your loss; He can teach you to live a new life complete with joy and contentment. - Prayer Minister, Lisa Murrah

Have you lost a loved one?  Are you grieving over this loss?  Each Monday from 12:30 until 2:30 pm. Lisa Murrah, a trained Lay Prayer Minister, meets with people experiencing grief in individual prayer appointments.

           Prayer Ministers             Back to Top

We stress that Prayer Ministers in the All Saints Healing Ministry at the Glennon House do no counseling whatsoever. This ministry conducts individual healing prayer for those in need of physical, spiritual or emotional healing, either by appointment with Prayer Ministers or by Ministers on duty at the house for drop-ins and phone calls. Small groups meet for bible study, teaching, discussion and prayer. We stand on the promises of the Lord Jesus Christ.
